La Vida Wine

La Vida Wine began with a fairly simple prompt: turn three provided characters into a logo and create a brand off of said logo. My characters to work with were “L” “V” and, “6”. After some 100 thumbnail sketches, the design I developed stuck. From there, the logo had the personality of a wine company. This wine brand was advertised towards the crowd who are sophisticated by the beach but indulge in the fun of life, hence the name La Vida : Worth Living For.

The colors are derived from the natural color of wine and follow the tone of elegance. The script, SignPainter HouseScript Semibold, was also selected for the same reason.
